For most people, the question is no longer whether an air purifier is needed or not. The trouble is which air purifier brand to get. And to complicate matters, there are so many kinds of air purifier brands available today on the market. Selecting the right one out of the lot can be a daunting task at times.
So in this rabbit air minusa2 review, I will reveal to you all that you need to know about this seemingly great air purifier so that you will be able to make the best decision with regard to purchasing this air purifier.
In case, you are in hurry, this is summary of my Rabbit Air MinusA2 Review;
The rabbit air is quite unique in its design and function. Rabbit Air attached as much importance to its design as they did to functionability. It’s probably one of the thinnest and slimmest air purifier available on the market. The design allows you to either place it on the floor or hang it on the wall. Great Space saver!
It uses a special filter – BioGs HEPA filters. Unlike normal filters, these filters doesn’t allow an unnecessary accumulation of impurities on the filter. This increases the effectiveness of the filters.
It is as powerful as most of its competitors. It comes with 6 filter system for thorough purification.
Recommended?; I would recommend this device for anyone who is looking for an air purifier that purifies air at a great efficiency.
Best place to Buy it: Amazon.com
But if your main is to tackle cigarette and similar smoke, I don’t think this air purifier will be the best device for such a task. Even though it can reduce such smoke, it doesn’t really do a great job at that.
Another downside is that it doesn’t come with a timer. So you can’t time it to work at certain hours. Though it has an auto mode that senses the level of impurity in the room and purifies it accordingly.
Now a Comprehensive look at the Rabbit Air MinusA2
FIRST OF ALL ITS DESIGN;
The design of Rabbit Air MinusA2 air purifier is captivating. It measures about 22″ high by 21″ wide by 7 deep. It is inarguably one of the slimmest and thinnest brand of air purifier you can find in the market. Its nature allows it to be either place on the floor, on the table or hang on the wall.
I consider this a great space saver. You don’t have to worry much about the space it will be occupying in your room. Add to this is the fact that it fits quite perfectly into the design of any room or place.
And that is not all about its versatile design. You can also customise its front panel with wonderful artistic images by famous artists such as katsushika Hokusai, Claude Monet and Vincet Van Gogh.
As you can clearly see, Rabbit Air placed as much importance to the design as it did to its function ability.
You Fancy a 6 Filter System ?
The device comes with a 6 Filter System. Air passes through all these filters during the purification process. The first two filters are called pre filter and a medium filter. They trap and remove larger particles from the air. The pre filter is a washable permanent filter.
After these, the air moves to the BioGs HEPA filter. This is different in the sense that it doesn’t only trap and reduce particles that are as minute as 0.3 micron, also, it minimizes the accumulation and build up of dirt and microorganism on the filter. And as such it helps in promoting and maintaining the efficiency of the filters.
From this special filter the air enters one of the customized filters you are allowed to choose during purchase. There are four customized filters you can choose from; Germ defense, Per Allergy Filter, Toxin absorber and Odor Remover filter. As their names suggest, they fight off microorganism, pet allergens, dangerous chemicals and offensive odors respectively.
You choose based on your needs and what you intend to use the air purifier for.
NOTE; I wouldn’t really recommend this air purifier for you though if all you wanted was to fight off cigarette smoke. It doesn’t really do a great job at tackling cigarette.
After this, the air passes through an activated charcoal filter where more offensive odors are trapped and removed from the air. The last stage involves production of ions to charge the air as they pass out the machine.
Quite frankly, I was really impressed by this purification system. It’s quite comprehensive and satisfactory !
It comes with a smart light sensor that detects its environment and works accordingly. So you don’t have to worry about changing the settings always to suit the level of light in your room.
It also has an air quality sensor. This helps you to know when to use the air purifier. As it changes colour according to the level of pollution in its environment.
My favourite special feature is the fact that it really operates QUIETLY. It so quiet that sometimes you hardly remember it in the room. If you are looking for an air purifier that wouldn’t intefer so much with your quiet environment, give the Rabbit Air MinusA2 a TRY!
It doesn’t also consume energy that much. It’s been verified by Energy Star. On its highest settings, you can expect it to consume somewhere 90 to 100 watts.
What I like about it (Pros) ?
1. It has a Comprehensive purification process
2. BioGs HEPA filters prolongs its efficiency.
3. It comes with a 5-year warranty.
4. Its design is one of the best you can find on the market.
What I don’t like about it (cons) ?
1. I am not really impressed by its cigarette smell removing ability. Its competitors are somehow better in this area. Even though other customers are okay with the way it deals with cigarette smoke.
2. It doesn’t have an auto timer. So you can’t time it to purify air at certain times. Perhaps it because if its air quality sensor that detects the level of impurity in the room automatically.
I think it’s a great air purifier to have. I do recommend it for anyone looking for effective air purifier that is worth its price.
Its filtration system is indeed comprehensive. It works really quietly. It is way quieter than most air purifiers out there. And its design too is attractive.
